Godwin Chibanda Papa G Passes On

ZambianMusic.net has learnt that Kitwe based businessman, music promoter and artist manager Godwin Chibanda passed on early morning on Saturday 14^th April 2018.

A source has confirmed to this website that, Chibanda was knocked by a speeding vehicle that pushed him to the railway line. It’s said that, at the same time, there was a train coming and it couldn’t stop.

Chibanda is the founder of Kitwe’s popular recording studios – Godysaurus. The late was also singer Krummy’s manager during his peak days of the Kanselele hit.

Known to many Copperbelt residents as Papa Gee, Godwin Chbanda was a very good gentleman who always listened and assisted many Zambian musicians that sought for his financial help. Rest In Peace Chibanda !!!
